Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person, bring a smile on their face.
India ranks 107 on 2022 Global Hunger Index, behind Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Undernourishment prevalence rose in India from 14.6 per cent in 2018-2020 to 16.3 per cent in 2019-2021. This translates into 224.3 million people in India being undernourished out of the total 828 million people globally.
So far, our efforts have helped more than 4000 people already. We have been able to provide them with nutritious home cooked meals. Our goal is to continue this effort and reach out to more people in need by expanding our reach. We have also had a positive impact on the local community, as we have been able to provide people with a meal that they would not have otherwise had access to. We are grateful for all the support we have received from both individuals and organizations.
We are also providing volunteering opportunities for those who want to help in the distribution process. Volunteers will get an overview of the overall process and will be able to work alongside our team to ensure that food is delivered to the needy in a timely and efficient manner.
Apart from food donation, we are also collaborating with old age homes to provide them with Monthly medicines
